Teams / Players:
 
• players can only play for one team
• teams consist of  (min 3 - max 5) players
• teams cannot change their 5 player roster after the brackets have been published
• players are allowed to respec their characters anytime
• every team must have a contact person who idles in #nihilum.nec (irc.quakenet.org)

• every team must have a contact person who checks nihilum.mousesports.com/forum/nec-1 frequently

Matches: 
• all matches will be played using the skirmish 3vs3 arena

• teams will schedule their matches via IRC or the Nihilum private message system.
• teams will play a best-of-five (Bo5) series against each opponent, all of the five matches have to be played in a row
• between each arena game a maximum 10 min break after the end of each single arena game is allowed for respec and lineup-change, after that 10 min break teams have to start queueing for the next arena game
• teams may play each single arena game with 3 different players out of their max 5 players lineup (all players have to be available and mind the 10 min rule for next arena game!)

• teams must start to play their games before 24:00(server time) the deadline day
• teams are free to play their matches whenever they can but if they can't agree on a time to play, the match will be played at a preset time
• preset time to play the games is 21:00 (server time) the deadline day. For example: Deadline = 1st April, preset time = 21:00, 10 Feb
• when both teams have agreed upon a time an admin must be informed of it and the time can no longer be changed
• if a team doesn't show up when the match should be played they will forfeit the match
• if neither of the teams show up, both teams will be disqualified
• after you have played your match report the result to one of the admins
• the winning team must have a screenshot of every round
• in case of a dispute each team must present their case in writing and an admin will make a decission based on the information given
• in case of an instance server crash, severe lag conditions, or game-altering disconnect, teams may replay their match. If conditions are too severe during the scheduled match time for 1 hour or more, the match maybe rescheduled for a more suitable time
• games aren’t officially tallied until the score card can be screen-shotted by the winning team

Groups:
• groups will be generated by random

Rankings & Seedings:
• rankings and seedings will be generated by placements of each team in former nEC tournaments for the next nEC tournament series, new teams will be ranked behind senior teams.
