| I recently decided to finally break down and get an XBox 360. Saddly, I have three games at the moment. Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero 3, and Assassin's Creed. Normally, I wouldn't get a game like Assassin's Creed, but since it was given to me as a present...used...from my 12 year old nephew, I figured why not give it a try. It was a game he had bought with his lunch money, completed, and handed down wrapped as a present. ABOUT THE GAME "The first game in the Assassin's Creed franchise is set in 1191 AD, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land apart. Shrouded in secrecy and feared for their ruthlessness, the Assassins intend to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the conflict. Players, assuming the role of the main character Altair, will have the power to throw their immediate environment into chaos and to shape events during this pivotal moment in history. " ON TO THE GOOD STUFF I actually have rather enjoyed playing this game so far. Like I said before, I normally wouldn't play a game like this, but I'm always willing to give things a try. The graphics are way cool. You blend in with the citizens, given a target to kill, and your job is to kill it. You can kill them whenever and wherever. Overall pretty fun and easy..which is also part of what I would consider the negative side. I'M GLAD I GOT IT USED I think I would have been a bit disappointed had I known it was going to be that easy / short and paid that much for it. That's probably one of my primary complaints. It's too easy. My nephew even completed it in a few days time. So, if you can I'd buy it used if I were you or simply borrow it from someone. It is also a bit repetitive at times. MY WISH LIST 1. Multiplayer capability. 2. More techniques when you fight. 3. A bit more difficult? |
