I don't think I'd be an easy person to live with now...
Although, I have lived with like 4 guys and another girl once in a 2 bedroom apartment. That was interesting and considering the circumstances I was pretty much the easiest one to tolerate there. I was only like 19 though so it didn't bother me that it was almost living like a group of homeless people. There was almost always something going on and living with 4 guys there was always some random new face to see in the morning that was of the female gender. I would just nod and go about my business. One rule in living with multiple people...what you see or might hear at night just isn't and shouldn't be discussed the next day.
Those days were pretty fun. We all lived together and went to college together so it was fairly cheap. Well, most of us went to college. We played lots of video games, which is primarily what our Fridays and Saturdays consisted of. Do enough substances on Friday to take you through Sunday then crawl to work feeling trashy on Sunday at noon. That was pretty much my schedule. It's amazing I got through my first few years of college. Truly...
Ok back to the beginning, where I was. I'm 24 now and not nearly as tolerating as I was in my younger days. I think I'm even a bit more...ok alot more boring. I certainly don't have any interesting stories to tell from the previous night as I did back then. I reside pretty much alone now. Just me and two dogs. I make more money. Have 1 bedroom, living room, a huge closet that could also be a bedroom itself, kitchen, and a garage. I don't think I'm as easy to live with anymore though. I got lots of quirks apparently. Matter of fact, I think I would annoy myself if I lived with me at this point.

My Quirks
1. I have probably a billion bottles of different shampoos and conditioners all in the bathtub.
2. I probably have as much if not more bottles of body wash...in the bathtub. My choice in usage depends on how I feel like smelling at that moment.
3. Everytime I go to the store, for whatever reason, I buy a bag of frozen broccoli in desperation to eat it. I never do and they've collected in the freezer. I'm up to about 8. 
4. I watch Spongebob Squarepants in the mornings or some random show made for little kids. My brain doesn't like to be stimulated too much before 11 am or so.
5. I tuck the sheets every morning making my bed only to kick them out that night and usually on to the floor.
6. My favorite household chore is vacuuming. I like to do it daily.
7. I probably have enough clothes to never do laundry for a month and never have to wear the same thing twice.
Hmmm, actually that is all I can think of at the moment. Maybe I'm not as quirky as I thought. |
