| On my first blog entry I'll try to remember and talk about all my wow memories and experience, Lets get down to business. (1)Starting to play: Before playing WoW I played Runescape, a free MMORPG but with the option to have a subscription, I was level 98 when I stopped playing. I was looking for a new game, there was a lot of talk about WoW on my school and a few people playing it, I wanted to try it, so I went and bought it, my first character was a tauren warrior, I really had no idea what each class but I was pretty excited about playing a giant mean cow. (2) Noob times!: Ok. So, Im lvl 1 with a giant cow named Gemhunter ready to smash my way into glory, Coming from a game where Grinding was the main leveling system, I started exploring for a place where I could find some mobs to grind, I started killing some plainstriders until I got about level 3, those were pretty easy but then when I found some leopards I started to get owned, why you ask? Because I didnt know about auto-atack so I was spamming the button to go into auto-attack , and hardly hit a mob cos I was going in and out of auto attack, but after a few tries I learnt how it worked, Hmm... I also remember jumping every time it was the mobs turn to attack, I thought I would have more chance of dodging it or something. Then I learnt about abilities, I saw on my hotbar something called heroic strike and started using that. Now I'm lvl 5 so I went back to town and found a warrior trainer and quests, I had only like 6 copper cos i never went to sell and hardly looted so I bought (heroic shout), and was spamming it because i thought it did damage, oh yeah and the noobiest thing was to put the stance on my hotbar and spamming that. Those were rough times killing mobs doing hardly any damage, so I got bored and deleted that character (lvl 6) After that I made a human mage(the char I got to 70), his name was bestmage wich later it had to be changed(Q.Q) I had a bit more knowledge at that time and started doing quests, this was much easier. 2 Days later I was lvl 13 and was loving the game, there is not much more until later I just quested my way up, an instance here or there. (3) The Zul'Farrak grind: So, I was lvl 44 on Gadgetzan, when I get a tell to join a Zul'Farrak group, I was quite desperate at the time because me, being a noob, didn't know wich lvling zones to go(nor about wowhead for quest help) so I was pretty much lost now, no quests left in Tanaris and didnt know where to go. I joined the ZF team and cleared it pretty nicely, got the blue mask at the end and was pretty happy about it, but the best of all, it gave me 10 bars, woot half a level in such a short time! So I kept doing ZF ( 4 times a day zomg! ) until lvl 53, and had about 200g from all the drops and the grinding in there. Next up is The outland experience. (4) 57-58: The longest lvl ever! I was in silithus, looking at that XP bar every minute to see how close I was, Half of my guild was on Outlands telling me how cool it was and linking their cool blues, I grinded that level because I couldnt bother with silithus quests, when I reach 58 I made my way into the Dark portal..... The fun begins.... (5) Outlands: As soon as I entered outlands I helped the alliance and the horde kill the elementals, it felt like if I was in a raid, I didn't do any raids pre TBC because I was 45 when the expansion came out so Vanilla-wow raiding was forgotten. When I was killing the elementals with my trusty arcane missiles(Yeah I was pom-pyro specced, UGH), A lvl 70 came with an epic flying mount, I was shocked as he came next to me and said ¨check this out¨ and Pet-pulled the Big legion commander. I was like ZOMG run!!!, and as I was running the guys that kill the burning legion elementals started killing him, I pom pyrod it and got the killing blow(not really I just made myself think that cos it was cool  ), So he went down and I cheered, Then I proceeded to leveling to 70.(6) 69-70: /played 19 days. I was in netherstorm, doing a quest here and there and then, finally had 1 more bar to 70, I decided to grind that because if I quested it problaly would have taken longer and 1 bar is not hard to grind. The last mob went down and then, bang ding 70 on /g, woot yay cheers. (7) Lvl 70 First thing I did as 70 was go get my blue fly mount, then I queued for a Steamvaults and got on the same run both incanter(dungeon set 3) pieces that drop there, then it took me about a week to get the rest of the set. Then I started doing heroics for some epic loot to get ready for kara, our first guild run was in 3 days and I had 3 epics ready to pwn On our first Kara raid, we cleared till opera but then romeo and julianna owned us, It was still worth it because I replaced 1 epic and got another one, not to mention I was top of the DPS charts. It took us 1 more reset to clear the whole of kara, I was nearly full epic by that time and wanted to move on from kara to Gruul, but my build was still struggling to get full epic so we had to do few more kara clears. On our first Gruul run we killed the first boss, but then we couldnt down Gruul because too many people were not concentrating and being stupid... 3 days later the guild disbands. Time to move onto PVP (8) Season 1: Me and a paladin started doing arenas on Season 1 just for fun, but soon we had 1.8k rating and both full S1 gladiator, Season 2 was on its way, but I couldnt be bothered with doing arenas anymore so I left that. (9) Another attempt at raiding: I still had my full epic pve gear. I joined a Gruul/Mag raiding guild which soon moved onto TK/SSC, We managed to down Vashj and got to High astromancer on TK. But then the Guild leader quit and the guild disbanded shortly. Thats when I quit wow. See you all later |
