We have been receiving several reports of high latency issues on the Tournament Realms from several players and wish to investigate this further. In order to assist our network team in this investigation, please email the following information to forumtech@blizzard.com and enter ATTN - NickJS: Tournament Realm Latency Issues in the subject line. The information we are requesting includes:

1. Public IP address. Do not post this here on the forums. You can gather your Public IP by visiting (http://www.whatismyip.com/).

2. Trace Routes to both of the following IP Addresses:

206.16.147.42
12.129.225.110

Instructions for each operating system are below:

Windows XP/2000

- Click Start and then Run
- Type "command" and press Enter
- In the command window, type 'tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx > C:\tracert.txt' (without the quotes) and press the Enter key. Since you are making two trace routes, name the second one "tracert2.txt". When running the trace routes, replace the X's with the IP's listed above. For example:

tracert 206.16.147.42 > C:\tracert.txt

Windows Vista

- Click Start and in the "Start Search" field type "command" or "cmd"
- Right click on the CMD icon and select Run as - Administrator to start the Command window
- In the Command window, type 'tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx > C:\tracert.txt' (without the quotes) and press the Enter key. Replace the X's with the IP's listed above. For example:

tracert 206.16.147.42 > C:\tracert.txt

Now a file will be created on your C: drive called tracert.txt (and tracert2.txt) that contains your trace route information. Please be patient when waiting for the tracert command to complete, it may take several minutes. When you are returned to the command prompt, then the trace is complete. Now attach each of the files to the email.

3. When you begin to experience this latency on the Arena Tournament Realms, please log onto the realm Azuremyst for 5-10 minutes and document any latency issues (or lack thereof) that you experience on this realm as well.

4. Please finally provide the name of your Internet Service Provider and general location (city/state/country).

Now please email all of this information to the address specified above. Please also continue to watch this thread for future updates. If you are experiencing other unrelated issues with both these realms and the regular realms, please make sure you create a separate thread for assistance. This thread is only to gather the mentioned information to address Arena Tournament Realm latency issues.
