While everywhere Blizzard goes there is a positive change in the market, where they AREN'T: well, that's a more barren and sad story.

 

Blizzard's parent company, Vivendi Games, has dropped 24% of its profits in a quarter that didn't see the release of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. It's easy for them to expect more record-breaking sales once it is released, but the vague release-date tactics aren't getting people to invest in other services the company offers: Blizzard's sister company under Vivendi, Sierra, saw 24.1% of its profits slip away.
