WotLK enters Friends and Family Alpha

We earlier wrote about the release time for Wrath of the Lich King - which is in the fourth quarter of this year, probably November - and sure enough, WotLK has entered the friends and family alpha phase.

I knew that damn blimp in Orgrimmar was the way to Northrend. I also had a feeling that ship in Menethil was the way for the Alliance.

Horde might have easier transport routes but all are four options are better than the current travelling to Blasted Lands for TBC.

Assume Dalaran will have portals to the major cities like Shattrath too, so it's all good.

All Classes are available for play. Spells and talents will be available for testing past 70 for the following classes: Druid, Mage, Priest, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior.

I don't get why alliance players whine about transport locations, it makes perfect sense. Alliance travel by boat so they need a harbor, horde travel by zeppelin. Do you want blizzard to add harbors to IF and SW so you're not forced to take the looong and argues journey to Menethil/Theramore? Sometimes I wonder if alliance really do only consist of whiny little kids.

mmochampion have lifted the ban they were placing on people who attempted to post leaks, that was just them being over cautious, i havnt thought about the consequences much but if someone has the info why dont you want it... other than its a spoiler, but their have been a tonne of spoilers already why should this be any different?

You say who wouldnt want to be a friend of blizz right now but it seems like you dont want to see the new stuff after all, a bit contradictory.

There's a difference in wanting to see it and leaking it to the public.

MMOC, WoR doesn't have anyone to look out for either - even though MMOC is owned by MLG who is in "bed" with Blizzard - hence if we posted material thats leaked from a beta etc, we would (probably) step all over Blizzard's toes and lose the chances of getting beta invites for the guild.

It's a gray area though, I'm not 100% on the conditions and rules, but I've chosen to play it safe until Monday where people will get back to work and we can verify these issues.
