First of all welcome to our first of our new series ICFF, it will highlight any interesting discussions from our forums and give them some glamour. Enjoy!

Ok, so it’s time to bring this chat we have been having out from the depths of our forum and onto the big screen.

 

The legendary bow drama has been hitting not only our forums but the guilds official forums with flamers showing themselves in all shapes and sizes.

 

I shall be totally honest here: when I first heard this was totally dumbstruck by it, why would any self-respecting guild allow the “best” ranged weapon in the game to not go to the main ranged weapon using class in the game, a Hunter. There is nothing more to say than THIS WEAPON WAS MADE FOR HUNTERS... You can’t really argue this fact; it hits all the correct boxes for it to be a hunters dream weapon, just as much as Glaives hit all the right boxes to be a melee DPS Dream weapon. Now I know there is going to be members of the guild and people from the community shouting at their screens calling me blasphemous and other such obscenities that really should not come from any person’s mouth, but let me continue.

I will admit now I’ve looked into the situation and read numerous posts on the topic that in a strange way the GM was slightly justified in giving this to his rogue, but in a not so strange way it was an outrage and frankly quite disrespectful to the hunters, I am not sure if they were pre-warned about if this dropped it wasn’t going to them or not but a warning to them would have given them the opportunity to see if they still wanted to raid, and by saying yes to raiding knowing they wouldn’t receive the bow you could sleep well knowing you have a hunter who is there for the long run and not just loot.

 But for the rogue yes, he has been with the guild a long time and needs to be rewarded... but are both warglaives not enough to be considered one hell of a reward? It really is a discussion that you can take either standpoint on and since I have your attention now I shall have a go at both sides.

 

Shall Nihilum give Cloze the next bow??? Who knows, maybe it’s a new trend.
