Or is part of the storyline different so you don't feel that the complete story is know from before?
/wall of useless oppinions

Well I havnt read the books so I cant compare the serie to the books in this specifik case.
But hey, everyone got an oppinion on everything and well..
If its the same story, as i dont know. For me its realy intresting to read / see / listen to the same story but with a diffrent angel if its something i realy like.

If a serie / movie is based on a book, and if you like that movie / serie the book should be pretty kick ass, because when we watch movies that are based on books we miss out SO much from the actually story. I think the author of the Dexter books would if he watched the serie thonk that they missed so much out of the story he created, this is natural, the serie is awsome but you cant fill all the details and the whole story line to one serie / movie, you just cant. If the LOTR author would be alive and watch the 3 movies based on his work I doubt he would end up saying "Yupp they got it just perfect".

As I said it only my oppinions, i gonna order the books and hopefully they are better then the serie, and if that would be the case, same story or not im guessing that my "I just gonna read a chapter before i gonna go to bed" gonna end up with alot night with barley no sleep.
Its realy frustrating to say the least to see a bad movie that are based on a good book, but read a book based on a serie / movee you really like I would be damned if you would end upp dissapointed.

Bad gramma, english and whatever. Sorry for that!
