To Cherez/Beasteh, against Shaman/Warrior - Nihilum

Hey guys,

After a long session of Arena we came to the result that we really can't beat a shaman / warrior team. We first looked on Arenajunkies.com for some tips, but couldn't manage to use the given strategies successfully.
We really are desperate, having no chance to win against this team, so i want to ask you to help us out of that crisis.
Could you maybe explain your tactic(s) against this team, or post a nice vid, where it is included ? ( unfortunately this comp isn't in your 2on2 vid i think and i couldn't find one where it is included )

im guessing your playing the drain game which is totally useless since they buffed mana shield, you gotta dps the warrior and pet destroy totems, time your cc's with ur druid and druid help dps and you can take any warrior down even if with shield, don't forget to put a drain on shaman when he is free to heal cause they go oom very fast when healing burst and no time to dispel vipers, well i think this is the onyl way to beat a shaman/war is by nuking war

Correct, your best bet is to smash grounding totems and completely cc the shaman while nuking the warrior.

Imo play the drain game, focus shaman til oom then switch and nuke warrior. I doubt you will do anywhere near the damage to kill the warrior without the shaman going oom unless they are very bad. CC warr, drain + dps shaman, kill all totems, bash/charge heals + cyclone on low hp. When hes like 10% mana and used ns just cc and switch to warr. Should be fairly easy

It's not fairly easy tbh.. if they are good is one of the hardest setups for druid/hunter in my experience.. but yes.. try that. Even though, is there still that bug in water shield that they spamm it and get infinite mana? some days ago a shammy did it to me and my stings where like nothing against his water shield spamms :S

beasteh that tactic doesnt work anymore, since they buffed mana sheild and draining a shaman is hard without pet, you have more then enough dps to kill a warrior with the amount of dps a hunter/offecnsive druid can pull out, look at fylla's new movie its the perfect example

Fair enough, to be honest I havent done 2s with a hunter in a long time so my info will be a little out dated :P

I'm having problems keeping the pet alive thru windfury shock/grounding/shock purge spam. I find that i have to just spam cyclone on the warrior but if he trinkets then i'm stuck with shock/grounding/shock yet again. My hots are also getting purged like crazy from the pet and just the blooms are not enough to keep the pet up.
