![]() | I’m a student at the University of Aarhus in Denmark and I’ve decided to write my BA-paper in Organization about the various ways guilds in WoW are organized, structured and what this means for their overall success. In order to do this, I need some empirically gathered material from various players about their guild structure, their raiding status and the way they use tactics on boss encounters. The questionnaire is anonymous and shouldn’t take more than 5-10 minutes to fill in. I hope that as many as possible will want to spend a bit of time answering the questions since my empirical studies will be better, the more replies I get The questionnaire can be filled in either in this thread or in a PM to me on this forum. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. It can also be sent to me by mail: baproject@post.au.dk Any information given in this questionnaire won't be given to any third party Thank you very much in advance for your help. General questions: What guild do you play in: What is your guild’s world rank: What was it 6 months ago: What nationality does you guild leader have: How many days a week does the guild raid: How many leaders are there: How many raiding members: How many levels are there in the guild: (ex. trial, member, gm = 3): On a scale from 1 to 5, where 1 is the lowest: Ex: It is fun to play World of Warcraft: 5 The leadership listens to the members: Ranks mean a lot to the members and leaders: The leaders decide what to do: Members’ ideas are often used: The guild is fast at adapting to change: There is a high level of hierarchy: Members are able to influence tactics on boss fights: There is a long way from the leaders to the members: Leaders are being open about problems: Members are being asked about opinions: It’s easy to change tactics if something works better: There is good communication between leaders and members: If leaders set their mind on a tactic, it’s hard to change it: Members’ suggestions are tried out if they can work: The rank determines how serious you are being taken: The guild tries to make up its own tactics: Once again thanks in advance.
