Default Internett Problems!

So.. I have some problems with my internet conection. In my home theres 2 different internet connections, one that's suposed to be really fast but sucks really really hard, and theres one thats pretty good. But a few days ago the good network stopped working and i had to connect to the sloooooow one. I really need to get back to the good internet, cos the sloooooow one runs wow at about 500-800 ms -.- i can't play like that. So anyone know this stuff? Because i don't. I'm pretty sure evrything that's suposed blink on the box blinks, but i'm not sure. Theres two boxes. One black with three green lights that sais speedtouch, and theres one grey that sais D-Link. Any ideas?

Maybe it's a problem of your provider. Call them and ask if everything is ok with your connection (they can test it)

Default What helped me:

IF! you are behind a router, I recommend you trying this.

1: Hit your start menu, enter the "run" command.

2: Type "cmd"

3: A black Window will appear, in this window you should type: ipconfig /all and hit enter.

4: Alot of info will show, if you got multiple LAN cards equipped in your computer, you need to make sure you find the one you have connected.
Often, its not harder to figure out than the Wireless cards often will be described as .....yea, "Wireless"

5: Look after a line that says "Standard Gateway" - and make a copy of the IP address, it will most likely look something like 192.168.x.x unless you are sitting behind some crazy Cisco configured lylz router.

6: Enter your browser and paste the IP address in the address line.

7: Now you will enter the router configuration, most likely - maybe you need to type a username and a password, if this has been set. You should know it since it is youtr own router

8: Look after a menu wich is called something like "portforwarding".

9: World of Warcraft communicates on port 3724 with the TCP protocol. The patching process requires port 3724, 6112, and 6881-6999. Once again to download the patches for World of Warcraft you should forward the following ports.

3724 TCP 6112 TCP 6881-6999 TCP

If you can not forward ranges of ports and are only planning on having one computer playing WoW, just forward ports 3724 TCP and 6112 TCP. The 6881-6999 port range is mainly used where multiple computers on a network may be trying to play WoW at the same time.

The IP address you will be forwarding for, is you own LAN address.

Im Danish, and maybe some of my translations suck due to the fact that I translate directly from danish my bad..
But if it is too hard to understand, some more skilled people might want to correct my spelling

PEACE !

but first of all get the power cables out of both devices (dlink should be the router, the other one the modem) wait 1 minute and put the cables back in. If this doesnt help try PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall
it helps you to set up your router for wow
