Remember all bosses in MC had like 500k-1.1m hp, including adds/guards, and we're talking 60% larger raids than what we have now where 500-800k hp on a trash mob wouldn't be uncommon.

Stamina back then was more expensive. In TBC, stamina as a stat became much cheaper to avoid the whole glasscannon effect, hence why you easily doubled your HP from 60 to 70. Also why a lot of people (wrongly) think that at 80, you'll once again double your HP. But those people are nubs and should be slapped.

in the Beta there are Plate chests with 300stamina. At least blacksmithing recipes on lvl80

I can't imagine people would actually listen to such a looser, I can't imagine it's fun that when you make a mistake you get embarassed in such a way.

Oh yeah as cool as he is he's also an asshole to talk to people like that. To be fair though the only things I've heard him yell about are people seriously just not doing what they were supposed to do.

Everyone slips up but not being able to follow simple instructions is pretty damn frustrating for RLs. I heard from his flat-mates that my old GM went through a short phase of yelling about flame wreath in his sleep.

Okay... my old raid leader sounded exactly like this guy. The first time I heard his voice over Vent I was just like wow...this is going to be interesting. Fortunately he had patience, but ah the times of him yelling at someone were golden.
