Reborn V5 beta 1 is now available.

Reborn UI is a unique ui compilation with custom art.
The base installation will provide you with a ready to use custom ui.
V5 uses a template based system to allow both users and the creator to release multiple templates for several resolutions.
Reborn v5 comes in 1 resolution 6 different color templates.

Reborn v5 uses alot of acemods making sure you do not lose any performance while using it. Like any reborn version feel free to customize it to your likings.

==== Installation ====

Preword:
Installation is simple but works only 1 way. So if you do any steps wrong
it won't work. Take your time and carefully read the install guide to get
the beta to work the first try.

Step 1 -- Getting ready:
Rename your Interface and WTF folders to:
- Interface_old
- WTF_old
this will make sure you have a good backup in case you dont like reborn ui.
Simply remove any reborn content and rename the folders back to use your
old ui again.

!!! DO NOT COPY ANY REBORN FILES JUST YET !!!

Run the game with Launcher.exe
You will notice that wow is running at default starting with the intro. This
is good. Login with the character you want to install reborn ui for.
Hit ESC and go to video options.

Set your resolution to : 1280 x 1024 (any other resolution is not supported in this first beta)

Exit the game.
Go to your World of warcraft folder and go into WTF
- World of Warcraft\WTF
Open Config.wtf with WORDPAD (if you dont use windows use any other kind of reader that can open text files)

Find the following line :
SET uiScale
It has a number behind it. Select the entire line and replace it with:
SET uiScale "0.69999998807907"
This is your ingame ui scaling.


Step 2 -- Copying and installing reborn v5 beta 1
Copy The following folders to World of Warcraft\
Interface
WTF
Fonts
(on any popups by windows stating a overwrite message click continue)

Go into the WTF folder. If done correctly you will see an Account folder in it.
enter the account folder : World of Warcraft\WTF\Account

You will see a folder called : ACCOUNTNAME
Change the name to your account name. (not character name or realmname)(change it to the name you type at the login screen when starting wow)
enter the folder : World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME

You will see a folder called : Realmname
Change the name to your Realmname.
enter the folder : World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\Realmname

You will see a folder called : Character name
Change the name to the character you want to install reborn for. ( installation for alts is discribed further below)
Do not enter the folder but go back 1 step.
Enter the folder : SavedVariables (World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\SavedVariables\)

Open the file called : DiscordArt.lua ( with notepad or any kind of programm that can read text files)

Go to EDIT - Find or hit CRTL + F
Find the following line : ["Charactername : Realmname"] = "Default",
Replace Charactername with your Character name
REplace Realmname with your Realm name

Step 3 -- Completing the installation.
Run the game.
If all steps are done correctly the ui will work fine.

1. Installing different Texture Colors.
included with this package of reborn v5 beta 1 is the folder called : CustomTextures.
In this folder you will see the different colors you can pick.

Go into the folder from the color you want to use.
Select all files in your selected folder and COPY.

Go to your world of warcraft folder and enter the following location:
World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\DiscordArt\CustomTexture s\rebornv5
PASTE the textures into that location.

If you get a message that asks you if you want to overwrite the files click yes.

2. Installing Reborn For alts.

This is quite easy. And consists of 3 steps 1 out of the game 2 ingame

Step 1 Ingame:
Make sure you are logged in with the character you installed reborn v5 for.
hit /dart in chat.
Go to Misc options.

You will see an option to safe your settings. Save your settings with the name : Custom

Log out with your main and logon with your alt.
Exit the game.

Step 2 copying files:
Open your world of warcraft folder.
Enter the location:
World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\Realmname\Charact ername
Character name should be the character you installed reborn v5 for not your alt.
Select all files in the folder and COPY
Go 1 folder back.
Go into the folder from your alt.
Paste all files and accept any overwrite popup.

Step 3 getting it working ingame:
Login with your alt. If the above steps are done correctly all things will be in place but no art.
type /dart in chat.
Go to misc options and load the custom settings.

If the steps where followed correctly the ui should work fine on your alt.

I spent a lot of time today tweeking this UI to the way that I wanted it, so here's my Reborn UI V5!

most things are working ok.

-heres a few problems:
-reborn conflicts with some addons including - CT mod and titan bar (havent tested everything, but these are 2 main ones)
-need a list of commands to enter different options to poke, prod, and move action bars/buffs, unlocking the buttons on action bars, ect.
-show bags so we can open individually if we want?
-when i do the [charactername : realmname] thing where i change to my char/realm name, it keeps showing a box with dart nil value, but when i leave it as default, it works ok.
-exp bar?


basically list of commands would be most helpful right now out of any problems encountered

in the fu bar at the top you can unlock the buttons by clicking on the bartender tray icon
bags can be shown by clicking on the arrow in the onebag window at the top right
exp bar can be shown by configuring the fuxp addon ( click on the little xp button at the top fu bar and show the xp bar , you can also adjust the thickness)
sry for my bad englisch im from germany :P

edit: if you want to move your buff bar type : /ebb locked false to unlock it and after /ebb locked true to lock it again^^

Some bugs ive found in this beta:
Damage meter disappears when clicking on targets.
Party member names start to disappear when new members join

Some weird things happening in mine:
I can't adjust my buff bar
Can't adjust my cast bar
Can't adjust my enemy buff or casting bar

If these problems are just me it would be really useful if someone could tell me how to fix it

Some people are just to lazy and want everything hand fed to them. all you have to do is follow the instructions.

if you can't do that i would say stick to default blizzard ui..


otherwise. its a great UI. only thing i liked different in the old versions was the seperate chat and combat log frames. . but thats not hard to fix
