![]() | Hi, I would love to see you guys make a guide on the pvp warrior like you did with the pve warrior guide. Could talk about all the different arena sizes and how well we do in them and who we should take with us. Which spec to use? Fury vs arms? sword vs maces vs axes? Could talk about gear choices, gem choices which enchant to use ie. savagery, mongy or executioner? Stuff like that, Thanks. Last edited by Stlz : 8th February 2008 at 03:03 PM. |

| Warlord ![]() | Well, it's quite simple. As long you don't lack of resilience, just use +Stamina gems. Otherwise, get the 100 Halaamarks gem with +10 resilience or the BT/MH ones. Gear should be clear: Arena-armor, PvP Rewards (such as neck, girdle, bracers and boots, also rings, trinkets are battlemaster and Medallion of the Horde) Weapon should be either BT/MH if you get that or Saison 2/3 weapon. The coice of the weapon is a bit difficult. If you are orc, you could chose axe 'cause of your +expertise, but since many got so much resilience, the +crit/hit you got from that is not that worth it. For other races it depends on your taste of which you think is the best. Mace = stun, Sword = Chance on extra strike and Axe = +5% crit. Enchant on weapon is clearly Savagery, 'cause Mungoose and Executioner is just useful for fast weapons because it proccs more often. In 2v2 bracket, get a druid and collect epix. 3v3 the same (druid) and maybe a rogue or something like that. In 5v5 their are many combos: 2-Healer, 2 caster and 1 warri or 1 healer, rogue warrior mage warlock/Shaman or Manaleech combo, their you have to try out what the best is for your style of gaming. |

![]() | I'd try to get a sword if you want to be more damage-focussed (5% chance on extra hit > 5% crit, especially when you already have a good amount of crit and/or look at that masses of resilience out there) or a mace if you want to be more of an interruptor. for the enchant: both mongoose and executioner work as ppm, so using a slow weapon with many instant attacks will procc them more often. (I believe Lion's strength from the blacksmith 2 handed work the same way... it just proccs every 10 seconds or so^^) mongoose has a bit higher ppm, but executioner is really really strong when it proccs. |

![]() | Ill pretty much agree with what with what Landolph said. Executioner + Mace (or sword if you have a cc heavy lineup), even though mace procs are really strong atm. 33/28, 38/23 or 33/25/3 is the Specs most commonly used. Dont ever bother with Fury pvp spec as it is atm, totally useless. Socking Stamina or Resi gems is overkill tbh except if you perhaps play 4dps in 5v5, if that team has a warrior then they usually gets focused since that would break their setup pretty badly. |
