Why would you want to announce taunt resists in /rw ?

its a thing my guild does, people in my guild like tanks to be in charge of RW, i made last stand and shield wall macros that say when i use them in RW and theyve talked about me getting one that says my taunt was resisted, its just easier for them to know whats up when we do that.

They should use Omen or KtM if it's a aggro issue your discussing. Nothing more simple.

Well, actually, thats not entirely true. Take firemaw for example (Old bossfight, i know - but i have yet to read the Hyjal/BT fights so i cant relate to them) Anyway, if Wing Buffet is incoming and the taunting tanks 'taunt' is resisted, its quite relevant, and if the tank doesnt have a mic to say "Zomg, wtf, quick press the [Iwin] button tincandrone#3, an announcement is quite helpful.

Read my post instead of the first sentence, i was relating to the fact announcements are useful in situations -Using a boss from BWL as an example.

The only people that need addons are mouseclickers and I'm not one of those. Therefor I do not use any UI's for myself since i cant figure out how to set them up. Only for the raid such as swstats/ora2
