The Dark Knight - Nihilum

It's 3:24 over here in Alaska and the first local screening is going on. I was going to go to the first but my family's schedule intervened so I have to wait 4 hours. So basically, what were everyone's first impressions for those who did see it and what were the strong and weak elements?

I know that it releases later in Europe and Nihilum is a European guild, but any insight from people who have seen it for all of us who haven't?

It was really an incredible movie. The action is intense and never lets up. Ledger played a perfect Joker in my opinion. Even my friends who have been classic Batman fans and didn't think he would get the job done agreed that he played it just about flawlessly. Definitely worth seeing

Godlike movie! Batman begins was excellent and this one definitely lived up to its expectations! Strongly recommendable

Easily the best superhero movie of all times. Give Oscar to Ledger,he is freaking brilliant! Disappearing pencil trick FTW btw!!!

It doesn't come out until this Friday in the UK. Gutting cause I really want to see it now. :/

I saw and advanced screening of this in New York on thursday afternoon. The movie was amazing. Everyone acted the roles perfectly to a T and Ledgers death did make it more hyped. I loved it.

On another note, i still believe that the new James Bond movie which comes out November 7th here in America, will be better. I am a major Bond fan and the previews make me much more pumped then Batman did.

The moive is amazing. Nothing less. In my opinon there will go along time before we see a movie close to this standard.
Heath Ledger's performence in this movie will be remember'd in a very long time, He is indeed the joker now, Jack N can go home and lie down.
The Joker lifts this movie to a whole new level, i mean what a bad guy -
That nasty laugh, that nasty look, and those empty eye's is just what make this movie so good.
After the movie, i've felt kinda sad really, i mean, we'll never see this total psycopat in a moive again, (played by Ledger)

Go see it! its ****in awesome, you will not regret it
